@torproject What if wrap it in multiple encrypted layers before passing it on?

@torproject What if I wrap it in multiple encrypted layers before passing it on?

@torproject I always thought TOR was an acronym of The Onion Router (therefore must be written with upper-case letters).

@torproject

I know some people who write "ToR" and I keep catching myself using it, too and, well, yeah.

@torproject
Trips off the tongue better than "the onion routing project" <3

@torproject ok but can I call it tor

@moshtodon @torproject It's an acronym for THE onion router(case sensitive.)

@torproject Aye, aye, Thor.

@torproject Except when you're SHOUTING. Then it's TOR!!!

@torproject But why?

@torproject Tรดr? blobcatthinking2

@torproject
Note: even though it originally came from an acronym, Tor is not spelled "TOR". Only the first letter is capitalized. In fact, we can usually spot people who haven't read any of our website (and have instead learned everything they know about Tor from news articles) by the fact that they spell it wrong.

@polychrome Tรถr

@torproject Tor is on fedi???!!!! ๐Ÿ˜

@torproject I think that perhaps you are not fully educated on this subject, I am quite sure that it is in fact "TOR".
